Receptionist very nice but the lash tech who did my lashes curled my lashes at the end too much and my lashes now hit my eyelids (they are long) and look shorter. Not happy especially after paying almost $100 for a lash lift after tip.

I had been going to Lash Belle NY for a long time and always had a great experience. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff was welcoming, and I was very happy with the person who did my lashes. Recently, however, things have changed. The receptionist seems determined to push clients toward other technicians, even when we already have someone we are comfortable with and trust. I called on a Tuesday for a Saturday appointment and was told that I was calling “last minute.” I’m sorry, but how is four days in advance considered last minute? I was also told that I should try other technicians. The problem is that I have tried other technicians before, and the results were not the same. As a paying customer, I believe I should be able to choose the person I want to book with, not be pressured into seeing whoever is available. What disappoints me the most is the change in attitude. Lash Belle NY used to feel warm, accommodating, and customer-focused. Now it feels like clients are being told what they have to do instead of being listened to. It’s unfortunate because I was a loyal customer for a long time, years but customer preferences should matter, especially when they are the reason people keep coming back.
I have only had great experiences here the staff at the desk greeting me by name is very professional including the lash techs. Very clean relaxing and pleasant
I walk in and from the start the lady in the front was rude and unwelcoming. When I was picking what lashes I wanted she said come on it’s not that hard. She seemed very impatient even though I came earlier than me appointment. She got annoyed when I asked her to repeat something. I requested 12-15. Gradually getting longer into a cat eye. But I got practically the same length all around very short when I told her several times what I wanted and she “made sure”. My eyes burned a lot which has never happened to me before. They burned for an hour after that which I didn’t think was normal. I will not be coming back because this is the complete opposite service I was expecting.
The receptionist is so rude and will require you to tip because apparently the lash techs get paid little to nothing and what they earn is only a part of their tip. I always tip but hate when they frame it as something required and I gave the tech the tip without the receptionist knowing and she sent me ugly texts. I’m assuming she’s the owner. Reply to owner: I never tried using a 50% promo- I don't even know where I'd get that from. I never said tipping is illegal. I said requiring a tip and harassing your customers for it is illegal. I have always been a tipper. You guys just got mad at the fact that I gave my lash tech the tip instead of the front desk. Clearly some suspicious activity is going on
